And obligations....

If you are planted with some sophisticated chips in your head that makes you smarter than anyone on earth, injected with anti-aging nanobots that makes you live almost to infinity, can download your brain memory into a network and re upload it into your body, what rights and obligations are you entitled to?
  • Property rights How much is the prize of a property after 50 years? If you are a transhuman would you still be entitled to enjoy the value of your property for the next 50 years?
  • Parenthood If you are a cyborg, do you still have the right to have children?
  • Personhood Are you, in any way, a "person" under the law? If your mind collaborate with AI, will still that makes you a "person"? Or have you become a "legal entitiy"?
  • Intellectual Property The right for authorship usually ends, 50/25 years after the person is dead. If you are actually an undead, should the law reads the way it reads now?
  • Citizenship What about the non-transhuman. If they are "less knowledgable" than the transhumans, what will happen to them? Force future human germs to be genetically modified to reach high IQ? Enslave bad genes?

These are only the preliminary part of my "Transhumanism: the legal questions". In the mean time, you might be interested checking out the Transhuman Law web .
